Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is significantly ramping up its flight frequencies and passenger capacity in response to surging travel demand across the Asia-Pacific region.
Starting 6 June 2025, Scoot will double its flights to Iloilo City, increasing from two to four times weekly. Cebu will also see expanded service with ten weekly flights (up from seven) beginning 24 June, while Davao flights will rise to 12 times weekly starting 30 August.
In Australia, Scoot is boosting capacity to meet strong outbound and inbound demand. From 4 August, Perth will see 14 flights a week, up from 12, followed by Sydney, which will increase from 10 to 14 weekly flights starting 5 October.
Scoot is also enhancing its popular Koh Samui route, increasing from 21 to 25 weekly services from 24 June. Meanwhile, routes to Taipei and Seoul (via Taipei) will become daily from 2 August, up from five times weekly.
Earlier in the year, Scoot had already expanded across Indonesia. Since 30 March, Jakarta flights rose to 25 per week, and Bali services were upgraded with widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliners now operating all 21 weekly flights. Yogyakarta capacity also increased with all seven weekly flights now operated on Airbus A321s.
Further upgrades include increased Dreamliner deployment on Taipei and Tokyo (via Taipei) routes, with all 12 weekly services using the larger aircraft since 30 March. Phu Quoc, the emerging Vietnamese island destination, saw an increase to six weekly flights from 15 April.
Scoot emphasized that flight schedules remain subject to regulatory approval and that it will continue adapting its network to reflect market demand. The airline reaffirmed its commitment to nimble growth, enhanced connectivity, and meeting the evolving preferences of today’s travelers.
