The Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA) is set to shine a spotlight on Gauteng Province at the highly anticipated Africa’s Travel Indaba 2025. As the province’s leading destination marketing agency, the GTA is dedicated to promoting Gauteng’s tourism potential, both within South Africa and internationally.
At the Africa’s Travel Indaba, taking place from May 12-15, 2025, Gauteng will be the focus, presenting its top tourism offerings under the theme “Unlimited Africa.” The province will showcase its rich cultural heritage, world-class music and sports tourism, and exciting business-leisure experiences. The GTA aims to use this major event to connect with global tourism buyers, media, and stakeholders, reinforcing Gauteng’s status as a prime destination for both local and international visitors.
Attendees at the Gauteng Pavilion (Stand L01) will be treated to an immersive experience, featuring some of the province’s most iconic attractions, including the Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Constitution Hill, an important landmark in South Africa’s political history. Additionally, Gauteng’s vibrant sports and music tourism scene will be highlighted, with activations showcasing the province’s high-profile events like the Ultra Music Festival, Soweto Derby, NBA Africa Ball League, and more.
