The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has named Manfredi Lefebvre as its new Chair-Elect.
Lefebvre is the chairman of the Heritage Group and co-chair of luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent.
He will officially become WTTC Chair during the organization’s 25th Global Summit in Rome, Italy, in September 2025.
This leadership change marks an important moment for the global tourism industry. Lefebvre brings decades of experience and a strong vision for the future.
Having been a WTTC member for over 20 years, his appointment promises both continuity and fresh ideas for the council.
WTTC works closely with governments and tourism bodies worldwide, including the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), to promote sustainable and resilient tourism development.
Lefebvre’s leadership is expected to strengthen these global partnerships and guide the industry through its evolving challenges.
