The Maldives reaffirmed its position as one of the world’s most desirable travel destinations with a remarkable showing at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, held from April 28 to May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. With the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” the event provided the Maldives with a prestigious platform to highlight its tourism offerings and strengthen its global appeal.
A delegation from the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), alongside representatives from 110 Maldivian companies, participated in the exhibition, signaling the country’s commitment to expanding its reach in the international tourism market. The event, which attracted over 55,000 participants from across the globe, was a bustling hub for industry professionals, media, and influencers.
The Maldives’ presence was marked by a striking double-decker stand spanning 517.5 square meters, designed to captivate visitors with immersive experiences. The stand featured B2B meeting tables for networking, an authentic gastronomy counter showcasing Maldivian cuisine, and live entertainment including performances by the ‘Skyrock’ band and cultural acts that offered a taste of the Maldives’ vibrant culture.
A key highlight of the Maldives’ participation at ATM 2025 was its collaboration with Liverpool Football Club (LFC). The Maldives’ partnership with the famed football club was prominently displayed at the event, with a dedicated LFC-themed zone featuring interactive displays and engaging content. This partnership was further highlighted through Dubai’s green taxis, branded with Maldives x Liverpool FC advertisements, and an eye-catching outdoor ad at the Convention Gate entrance, ensuring the collaboration reached a wide audience.
