Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel developer and operator in the Philippines, has won the ‘Muslim-Friendly Hotel Chain’ award at the 2025 CrescentRating Halal in Travel Awards held last week in Singapore.
This award, given by CrescentRating for the first time, recognizes Megaworld’s efforts to promote inclusive travel. The group has created safe and welcoming spaces with services tailored to the needs of Muslim guests.
In her acceptance speech, Managing Director Cleofe Albiso expressed gratitude and shared the company’s vision of inclusive hospitality.
“This milestone is more than just an award. It shows the Philippines’ growing openness, willingness to learn, and cultural harmony,” Albiso said. “We warmly invite our Muslim brothers and sisters worldwide to make the Philippines, Asia’s Pearl of the Orient, your home away from home.”
