by Mary

WiT (Web in Travel) will hold its first event in New Zealand with WiT Queenstown in July 2026. This marks a major step for the region as it seeks to become a center for travel and hospitality technology innovation.

The one-day event is being organized in partnership with Technology Queenstown, a non-profit agency founded by Roger Sharp. Sharp, who also chairs global travel business WEB Travel Group and the tech investment bank North Ridge Partners, has experienced the impact of WiT’s global community at recent events in Singapore and Japan.
