A delegation of Noahides from German-speaking countries toured northern Israel this week, demonstrating solidarity with the Jewish state despite official travel warnings and flight cancellations caused by rocket attacks from Yemen.
The group visited Haifa’s Mishkan Shalom Synagogue, the headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch Movement’s Noahide outreach program, which supports non-Jews committed to following the seven biblical Noahide Laws.
Hubert Rogon, 65, from Gehren in southeast Germany, recounted experiencing rocket fire firsthand last week. “There was a boom, but I experienced no angst,” Rogon told JNS. “It’s the reality of life here, and it’s important we also experience it.”
