Destination Canada has successfully concluded Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) 2025, the country’s top international tourism marketplace, held this year in Winnipeg. The event welcomed more than 1,200 tourism professionals from around the world, including 15 travel buyers from Australia.
Co-hosted with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), RVC is Destination Canada’s flagship event. For nearly 50 years, it has connected international travel buyers with Canadian tourism businesses, helping promote Canada as a top global travel destination.
The 2025 edition proved to be one of the most impactful yet. It brought together 405 qualified buyers, 23 international media members, and 858 delegates representing more than 497 Canadian tourism organizations. Participants came from Destination Canada’s key markets, including Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The Australian delegation included 15 buyers who engaged directly with Canadian businesses to learn about new travel experiences, products, and trends across the country.
As global tourism continues to recover and evolve, events like RVC are helping to strengthen Canada’s position on the world stage by fostering international partnerships and showcasing the diverse experiences available across its provinces and territories.
