Travelers heading to Fiji’s tropical paradise now have an easier way to get there. Starting April 1, Fiji Airways became a full member of the oneworld Alliance. This is more than just a new airline partnership — it opens the door to a vast global network.
The oneworld Alliance includes nearly 900 destinations and almost 700 airport lounges around the world. For travelers from Canberra and other locations, this means new benefits that improve the entire journey to Fiji and beyond.
Although there are still no direct flights from Canberra to Fiji’s famous beaches, oneworld membership offers important perks. Passengers with oneworld status get priority check-in and boarding, which helps reduce waiting times and makes travel smoother.
Additionally, travelers can now earn and use frequent flyer miles across the entire oneworld network. This gives loyal flyers more ways to collect rewards and get more value from their flights.
