Univasa, a licensed provider of mobility and connectivity solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Kalabash54, the fintech subsidiary of the Wakanow Group, to introduce a Travel Data eSIM product tailored for international travellers.
Available now on the Wakanow.com platform, the new service enables users to seamlessly access and activate mobile Travel Data plans during the travel booking process. This integration removes the traditional hassle of sourcing reliable connectivity while abroad, offering travellers from Africa and beyond a truly digital-first, borderless experience.
Univasa will power the backend infrastructure for the Travel Data eSIM, while Kalabash54 manages technology integration and customer access through Wakanow’s platform.
Speaking at a press conference in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Univasa CEO Ben Adeniyi emphasized that this partnership addresses the evolving connectivity needs of modern travellers, delivering convenience and enhanced mobility in an increasingly digital world.
