Frontier Airlines has started a new route connecting Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA). The airline will operate nonstop flights three times a week. To celebrate, Frontier is offering special discounted tickets starting at just $109.
The flight takes nearly four hours, departing Atlanta at 10:33 a.m. and arriving in Aruba at 2:29 p.m. Passengers can choose from several service options, including Basic Economy and a “Business Bundle,” which features an upfront seat and an empty middle seat for extra comfort.
Aruba, located just north of Venezuela, is a popular Caribbean destination. The island continues to attract visitors with its beautiful beaches and warm climate. According to the Aruba Tourism Authority, visitor satisfaction was high in 2024, with a monthly average score of 9 out of 10. Aruba welcomed over 1.4 million overnight visitors in 2024, a 13% increase from the previous year. Travelers from North America grew by 11% during the same period.
One of Aruba’s most famous attractions is Eagle Beach, which Tripadvisor ranked as the No. 1 beach in the Caribbean.
Frontier is expanding its network with several new routes. Along with Aruba, the airline announced flights from Atlanta to Oklahoma City (OKC) and Kansas City (MCI). These new routes also feature introductory fares starting at $79.
Josh Flyr, Frontier’s vice president of network and operations design, said, “These new routes, including service to the beautiful island paradise of Aruba, underscore our mission to prove that air travel can be both exceptional and affordable.”
