Starting July 1, 2025, Japan will change its visa rules for Peruvian visitors. Peruvian nationals will no longer need a visa to enter Japan for short stays.
This new rule applies to those with valid Peruvian ordinary passports that meet International Civil Aviation Organization standards.
Under the new policy, eligible Peruvians can visit Japan without a visa for up to 90 days. This applies to visits for tourism, business, or other short-term reasons. This change aims to make travel between Peru and Japan easier and more convenient.
