Zayed International Airport (AUH) has issued a warning about ongoing flight disruptions expected on Sunday, June 15, and Monday, June 16, urging passengers to verify their flight status before traveling to the airport.
The advisory follows multiple airspace closures in the Middle East, which have caused widespread delays and cancellations.
Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier, has confirmed cancellations and delays on several routes.
The airline is re-routing flights to avoid restricted airspace and has advised that passengers connecting through Abu Dhabi to cancelled flights will not be accepted for travel from their original departure points.
