A highlight of the “China Tourism Year” is the exhibition titled “Silk and the Silk Road: From China to Kazakhstan,” which opened on the same day at the National Museum. Divided into three sections – “The Origin of Silk,” “The Silk Road,” and “The Use of Silk” – the exhibition showcases the historical significance and modern evolution of Silk Road culture, as well as the friendly exchanges and cultural integration between China and countries along the Silk Road. The exhibition will run until August 8.
