British Columbia has unveiled a refreshed version of its DriveBC website, offering a more user-friendly experience for drivers seeking real-time road and weather updates on provincial highways.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, the redesigned platform features a simplified map, cleaner layout, and a more intuitive design for both desktop and mobile users.
Drivers can now access detailed travel advisories, emergency updates, and weather conditions, with enhancements to the route-planning tool that allow users to save favorite trips and receive custom notifications.
New features also include information on border crossings, chain-up areas, and inland ferry services, aimed at helping both everyday travelers and commercial drivers navigate more efficiently.
The province said the updates were guided by feedback from the public, commercial drivers, and other key stakeholders.
