The Middle East’s meetings industry is experiencing rapid growth. According to Lodging Econometrics, hotel development is booming, and brand conversions are at an all – time high. Dubai leads the region as a top meeting destination, securing $16 billion in group business via the Cvent Supplier Network.
Among the latest additions to the region’s meeting venues are eight remarkable properties. Wynn Al Marjan Island, set to open in early 2027, will be the Middle East’s first gaming resort, offering 1,542 rooms and extensive event space.
Two venues stand out for emphasizing cultural heritage. Aldhafra Resort, Vignette Collection, located on the edge of the Empty Quarter, provides unique experiences like camel trekking and Arabic coffee tasting. Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Riyadh’s historic Diriyah, offers a glimpse into Saudi Arabia’s past, along with modern amenities and event spaces.
Other notable venues include Andaz Doha with its 312 rooms and large event spaces, Raffles Jeddah with Red Sea views, and Signia by Hilton Amman, the brand’s first international property with the city’s only convention center. These new venues showcase the Middle East’s growing diversity in meeting offerings, blending luxury, culture, and innovation.
