Starting this Saturday, Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) commuters will face increased fares as the minimum and maximum fares are raised to improve affordability and financial sustainability. The minimum fare has increased from Rs 10 to Rs 12, while the maximum fare has risen from Rs 60 to Rs 75, following recommendations from the Fare Fixation Committee.
Revised Fare Details:
Up to 2 km: Rs 12
2 to 4 km: Rs 18
4 to 6 km: Rs 30
6 to 9 km: Rs 40
9 to 12 km: Rs 50
12 to 15 km: Rs 55
15 to 18 km: Rs 60
18 to 21 km: Rs 66
21 to 24 km: Rs 70
Above 24 km: Rs 75
The new fare structure is aimed at balancing commuter affordability with the financial needs of the metro service.
