Starting tomorrow, family-owned SeaPort Airlines will begin daily commuter flights connecting Portland and Seattle. As a sister company to Alaska Seaplanes, SeaPort will operate frequent round-trips, offering flights every 45 minutes during peak hours.
Passengers will benefit from flying through SeaPort’s private terminal at Portland International Airport (PDX) and Seattle’s Boeing Field, both conveniently close to downtown areas. This setup allows travelers to bypass the heavy traffic on Interstate 5 and avoid the congestion at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Kent Craford, chairman and CEO of Kalinin Holdings, SeaPort’s parent company, emphasized the advantages: “This commuter shuttle service will make travel quicker, easier, and more predictable, providing a trusted alternative for business travelers in the Northwest while delivering a meaningful economic boost to both cities.”
