Allegiant Travel Company has announced a new nonstop flight connecting South Bend, Indiana, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with service set to begin August 29, 2025.
The route, which will operate out of South Bend International Airport (SBN) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), will offer one-way fares starting at $59.*
“This expansion caters to passengers and communities we feel have been overlooked by other carriers,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. “Our business model connects small-to-medium sized cities to vacation destinations, offering travel options that don’t otherwise exist in these underserved markets.”
Mike Daigle, CEO and executive director of South Bend International Airport, welcomed the announcement. “We are thrilled with Allegiant’s choice to offer year-round flights to Fort Lauderdale from SBN,” he said. “This flight gives our community the much-requested nonstop access to the southeast side of Florida, including Miami and West Palm Beach.”
