In a major step to boost high-end tourism and improve travel within the state, the Kerala government has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) to start heli-tourism services.
The plan aims to bring in certified helicopter operators and aggregators to offer regular, safe, and convenient air travel. These services would link popular tourist spots including Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Vagamon, and Bekal.
This initiative is part of Kerala Tourism’s larger strategy to position the state as a premium travel destination. The goal is to offer a variety of experiences—from beaches to hill stations—that are easily accessible within a day.
