Gorakhpur Link Expressway Set to Open Soon, Reducing Travel Time

The much-awaited Gorakhpur Link Expressway is set to open in the next 15 days, providing a major boost to regional connectivity. Spanning 91.35 kilometers, the expressway will connect Jaitpur village in Sahjanwa (Gorakhpur) to Salarpur on the Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh.

Once operational, the expressway will drastically reduce travel times between Gorakhpur and major cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. The current five-hour journey between Lucknow and Gorakhpur will be cut down to just three and a half hours, offering travelers a faster, more efficient route.

This new expressway is expected to improve accessibility and boost economic ties between the cities, making it a key infrastructure development for the region.
