The Novotel, Mercure & Ibis Darwin Airport Resorts have claimed top honors at the 2025 Aristocrat Technologies / Hospitality NT Awards for Excellence, winning Best Marketed Accommodation and Best Outdoor Area. In addition, Sales Manager Joe Lynch was named this year’s Industry Rising Star, highlighting the resort’s growing influence in Australia’s hospitality scene.
Launched in December 2023 by the Airport Development Group (ADG), the trio of resorts introduced a unique concept to the Australian market—an integrated resort haven just a five-minute walk from Darwin Airport’s terminals.
The development offers a range of accommodation options, from luxurious poolside villas to affordable economy rooms, appealing to both leisure and business travelers. A standout feature is the 5-meter swimming pool, one of the largest of its kind in Australia, which contributed to the resort’s win for Best Outdoor Area.
“Since the launch of the resorts concept, guest feedback has been outstanding,” said General Manager Raymond Bragg, underscoring the success of the airport-adjacent retreat.
