The UAE’s travel and tourism industry is expected to create 26,400 new jobs in 2025, bringing the total number of jobs in the sector to 925,000, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). This growth is driven by record levels of international visitor spending.
The forecasted jobs for 2025 represent a 2.9 percent increase from 898,600 jobs in 2024. The total also marks a 21.7 percent rise compared to pre-pandemic figures from 2019, the WTTC said in its latest Economic Impact Research report, prepared with Oxford Economics.
Simpson added, “After such a remarkable year, growth often slows down. But in this case, the numbers are still climbing. If anything, 2025 is set to see even faster growth.”
