Marriott International is expanding its luxury Autograph Collection with its first-ever safari camp. The Mapito Safari Camp, Serengeti, Autograph Collection, will open in the third quarter of 2025 in Tanzania, along the famous Great Migration route.
The camp will offer 16 tented suites, including a special two-bedroom villa. Each suite will have outdoor decks, fire pits, and retractable roofs for guests to enjoy stargazing in the open air.

Located between Central Serengeti and the western migration corridor, the camp sits directly on the path of the annual Great Migration, which occurs from May to July. Guests will also have year-round chances to see the “Big Five” and other iconic African wildlife in the surrounding area.
