Trip, the world’s third-largest online travel platform and the largest in China, aims to grow its presence in Vietnam. The company plans to make Vietnam one of its key markets in Southeast Asia.
Vietnam, along with Indonesia and the Philippines, is part of Trip’s next phase of expansion. Boon Sian Chai, managing director and vice president of international markets at Trip.com Group, shared this at a recent event.
In Vietnam, Trip is working to increase its range of services and expand its team. Over the past year, the company opened an office in Hanoi. It is also considering opening a second office in Da Nang if conditions allow.
