Cathay Pacific is set to expand its European network with the resumption of direct flights between Hong Kong and Rome in June. The service will be operated by the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Additionally, the airline will introduce its first-ever direct flights to Munich in the same month. With these additions, Cathay Pacific’s European destinations will exceed 10.
The airline is also gradually deploying its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with the new Elegance Business Class cabins, to more routes. Currently, these aircraft primarily serve popular routes such as Beijing, London, and Sydney. The expansion of both its European network and the deployment of new aircraft with enhanced cabin products highlight Cathay Pacific’s commitment to providing high-quality services to its passengers.
This move comes as part of Cathay Pacific’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key international markets. The addition of Rome and Munich to its European destinations not only offers more travel options for passengers but also reflects the airline’s confidence in the recovery of the aviation market. The deployment of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with its new business class cabin is expected to enhance the travel experience for passengers, further solidifying Cathay Pacific’s reputation as a leading international carrier.
