First-time visitor Mr. Jeong from Seoul praised the simplified entry process: “The visa-free policy makes visiting China incredibly convenient.” To accommodate concentrated flight schedules, Yanji Immigration Inspection Station implemented a tiered staffing model that dynamically adjusts checkpoint lanes based on real-time passenger flow. The system reduced average processing times while maintaining security standards.
Additional measures include expanded multilingual services and contingency training for officers. “We’ve optimized every step from document verification to emergency response,” explained a border control official. The upgrades come as leisure and family visits drive 92% of inbound travel at the Northeast China hub, positioning Yanji as a key beneficiary of relaxed visa policies among Korean tourists.
