On May 29, the theme event of 2025 “International Mountain Tourism Day” grandly opened in Gran Canaria, Spain. This event, co – hosted by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance and the Tourism Department of Gran Canaria, Spain, has drawn the attention of the global tourism industry.
Li Shouwen, the Executive Chairman of the China International Camping Conference, sent his regards and insights. In his message, Li emphasized the significance of mountain tourism. He pointed out that mountain tourism serves as a precious gift from nature, acting as a crucial intersection where human civilization and natural ecology harmoniously meet. It not only allows people to appreciate the magnificent mountain landscapes but also promotes in – depth cultural exchanges.
Since Jinhua Mountain joined the International Mountain Tourism Alliance, it has been adhering to the values of protecting mountain resources, inheriting mountain civilization, boosting mountain economies, and benefiting mountain residents. Li mentioned that they are committed to providing safe outdoor equipment, creating secure activity scenarios, and ensuring high – quality service processes. By giving full play to the global advantages of China’s excellent manufacturing, they have gradually formed a unique Jinhua Mountain model.
Li also expressed the hope to embrace the diverse cultures of the world with a more open attitude and share China’s development experience. He believed that the Jinhua Supply Chain Trade Center would respect the cultural characteristics of different countries and ethnic groups with a more inclusive mindset, making every mountain a bridge connecting the world and a bond for common development, thus enabling the harmonious co – existence of ancient mountains and modern civilization.
This “International Mountain Tourism Day” theme event is expected to further boost the global mountain tourism industry and promote international cultural exchanges through a series of activities, including theme forums, cultural exhibitions, and experience – sharing sessions.
