Dubai International Airport has issued a warning as several flights have been cancelled due to airspace closures in parts of the region.
Dubai-based airlines Emirates and flydubai have suspended flights affecting multiple destinations. Emirates has cancelled all routes to Jordan and Lebanon through Sunday, June 22, and flights to Iran and Iraq up to Monday, June 30.
Affected Emirates routes include Amman, Baghdad, Basra, Beirut, and Tehran. Flydubai has also suspended flights in the same region.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised all nationals, residents, and visitors to check directly with airlines for the latest flight updates.
Dubai Airports confirmed that flight operations at both Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) are facing delays, cancellations, or diversions due to the ongoing airspace restrictions.
Travelers are urged to monitor their flight status closely and plan accordingly.
